S3NSE is a cinematic experience full of poetry and intensity;
a non narrative journey in wich watching becomes an oscillation
between visual moods.
The English word for „sense“ means both, rational understanding and
sensual perception. It acts as a bridge between the induvidual and the
world. One that must be walked anew avery moment. Karen Bößer and
Misael Lopez dance their way to placces full of contrasts. Vast landscapes of
nothingness contrast with enclosed places without walls or boundaries that
allow no visual orientation. Their bodies alone serve as fixed points.
S3NSE is an artistic reaction to life in the ubiquitous spreading social fog
chambers. Democracies are tottering, international law is beeing trampled
on, humanity is sawing the branch on which it sits and the noises around us
are getting louder and make it harder to find orientation. S3NSE is an
invitation to emphthize, to listen and simply to be authentically human.
S3NSE has been shown at the film festival Cinemod Debuts in Estonia, the
Serbest International Film Festival (SIFF) in Moldova
and the European Art Festival in Bucharest.
