INTERSECTION / Csomópontok / 2026
is a participatory performance project by the artist duo Bößer & Szörényi, presented as
part of the exhibition “Golden Repair – Delicate Connections” at Ludwig Museum
Budapest.
The work creates a temporary field of relations in which community is not presupposed
but continuously negotiated. Differences between bodies, perspectives and positions
remain visible and become tangible as resonance rather than separation. The
conventional boundary between performers and audience is deliberately unsettled:
everyone present becomes an active element in the composition.
The performers are local volunteers who, through an intensive workshop, are introduced
to and physically embedded in the performance score. In choreographed 1:1 encounters
and open collective movement and attention practices, shifting constellations, new
connections and fleeting forms of shared focus emerge.
The score is generated through nonverbal and material communication, drawing on the
interplay of body, space and material sound. Each iteration of the work manifests as a
site- and situation-specific event, exploring how fragile, temporary communities can be
formed, transformed and reimagined in the here and now.
