2022 "Under Moon" Thomas Klein and Karen Bößer will present the performance "Under Moon" on June 15, 2022 as part of the Schumannfest 2022, "Neuland Vol. 2". The performance is a scenic-musical collaboration in which the animalistic, essential in humans is reflected. An adapted ego and its animal instincts wrestle with each other, become visible in turn. Morals and drives, forms of egoism, passion, controversial attitudes and desires flash up and want to dominate. Opposed to this is the desire and insight for balance. Karen Bößers dance performance leads into a scenic world of density, intensity, transparency, lightness and abstraction - congenially carried by Thomas Kleins aka Solyst electro and tribal beats with drums. Together they struggle to balance the kaleidoscopic centrifugal forces towards humanity and justice. 2020 "The Other Reason - Exaltation. Trance. Ecstasy" An installative Performance by Bößer & Szörenyi "The Other Reason - exaltation, trance, ecstasy" is an installation performance combining contemporary dance, live music, video projections and liquid materials creating images and spaces where stasis and flow, inner and outer entangle. Bößer & Szörenyi aim to free the energies of disintegrating states of consciousness while dissecting them, through the senses and formally. Supported by Thomas Klein's oscillating pull of tribal beats and amplified by acoustic and visual rhythms and effects, The Other Reason takes both performers and audiences on a horizon-expanding journey between projection and imagination. Movements, images, sounds, smells and your own play of thoughts merge into a space of suggestion, atmospheric density and growing openness. Immersion in other states of consciousness does not represent a flight from the world, but a purposeful calling of the "other reason" - a horizon of consciousness beyond the rational.
